I’m a PhD candidate in Sustainability at Arizona State University and a Research Aide at Argonne National Laboratory. I study the representational fidelity and fairness of AI systems for sustainability, bridging AI development and societal impact.

🎉 I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation!
🏆 I was honored to receive the 2026 Outstanding Graduate Student Award from the Rob and Melani Walton College of Global Futures, in addition to being recognized by the School of Sustainability upon graduation.

👩🏻‍💻 My work in progress has been accepted for presentation at the 20th Women in Machine Learning Workshop at NeurIPS 2025.
🚀 I've joined Argonne National Laboratory as a Research Aide Technical – PhD in the Applied Materials Division, working on multi LLM agent-supported decision support systems. Recently relocated to Chicago and looking forward to this new chapter!
💿 I participated in Technology for Good: A Workshop on Techno-Human Possibility, the culminating event of the ASU NSF Centers for Research and Innovation in Science, the Environment and Society (CRISES) project, and presented my work in progress.
🇰🇷 I was honored to be selected as an awardee of the Korean Honor Scholarship from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the United States of America.
⛺️ As second author, I co-authored the paper A New Lens on Homelessness: Daily Tent Monitoring with 311 Calls and Street Images, which was accepted to the 18th International Conference on Social Computing, Behavioral-Cultural Modeling & Prediction and Behavior Representation in Modeling and Simulation (SBP-BRiMS).

🪑 I chaired and presented my work in progress at the 20th Biennial International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC) 2025, in a panel titled “Information Technology and Commons”.
🏆 I co-authored AI-Supported Platform for System Monitoring and Decision-Making in Nuclear Waste Management with Large Language Models, which was submitted to WM 2025, and recognized as a “Paper of Note” and “Superior Paper.”

🎉 I‘ve officially passed my dissertation prospectus, “Hey GPT, Are We on the Same Page?: AI, Humans, and Institutions Wrestling with Environmental Justice under Climate Uncertainties”. I’m now a PhD candidate!
🌸 I participated in the CCC's Grand Challenges for the Convergence of Computational and Citizen Science Research in Washington, DC, to explore integrating computational methods and citizen science for emerging research challenges.
